Creatinine

Creatinine is a waste product that forms when creatine breaks down and is then filtered out by the Kidneys through urine. This test is done to evaluate the health of Kidneys. It can be done as a part of basic metabolic panel or when you have signs of Kidney disease like swelling of face, ankle, lower back pain, changes in urine output etc.
