Glycosylated Haemoglobin (HbA1c)

This test evaluates the average amount of glucose in the blood over the last 2 to 3 months. It monitors blood glucose levels for already diagnosed diabetics so that the risk of complications related to it can be assessed and prevented. It can also be used to assess predisposition to diabetes.
