Prolactin

Prolactin is a hormone that plays an essential role in metabolism, regulation of the immune system and pancreatic development in both men and women. In women it helps in milk secretion after child birth. This test is recommended in case of infertility, menstrual irregularities, PCOS/ PCOD, delayed or early puberty, sexual disorders, breast tenderness or breast milk secretion in non-pregnant women.
