Quadruple Marker Test

Blood test done during second trimester (15-20 weeks) of pregnancy, to screen for birth defects in the unborn baby. It helps in identifying genetic disorders such as Down syndrome; a chromosomal abnormality, problems in the spinal cord, brain or other neural tissues of the central nervous system.
