I am Dr Sindhu P S, ( MBBS, DNB, DDVL )consultant dermatologist , practicing in Bangalore. I have ten years of experience in the field of dermatology and I offer consultation in clinical, pediatric, aesthetic dermatology. I also have experience in the field of dermatosurgery. I have won many awards during my career , for various paper presentations at both national and state level conferences. I have also served as SRF (senior research fellow) on a project related to pediatric dermatology from AIIMS, New Delhi. I have also been awarded the prestigious gold medal in DNB Dermatology for the year 2014. I obtained my under graduation degree from JSS medical college, Mysore, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences. I was awarded Dip.in Dermatology, venereology and Leprosy from VMMC and Safdarjung hospital, affiliated to Guru GobindSingh Indraprastha university. I obtained DNB in Dermatology from Care Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. I am comfortable with Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and English. I have received certificate on Observer (IADVL) in lasers and dermatosurgery, Mumbai. Clinical observer at Bangalore Medical college and research institute, Bangalore. PAX course, LVPEI, Hyderabad. Course in Advanced Fillers and Botox, Cosmetic courses, London, United Kingdom. Other than practicing dermatology, I love dancing, sketching, painting, cooking/baking, traveling! My style of consultation is firstly, establishing a good rapport with the patient and listening to the patient extensively. I would then ask a few leading questions to help me come to a diagnosis, which I explain to the patient in detail, discuss the treatment options and help them to choose the appropriate and suitable treatment option. I would also stress upon the regular follow-ups for better outcome of any treatment modality.
