      In a bowl, add Water, Yellow Moong and keep for soaking.

      In a heavy bottom vessel, add Water, Salt, soaked Moong and boil for 20 mins.

      In a heavy bottom vessel, add Water, Salt, diced Carrots and boil till soft.

      In a heavy bottom vessel, add Water, Salt, Potatoes and boil till soft. Once cool, remove the skin and cut into dices.

      Heat Oil in pan. Add Salt, diced Red Pepper and saute.

      Remove it to a bowl and set aside.

      In a mixing bowl, add Sauteed Red Pepper, boiled diced Carrots, Potatoes and toss it well and set aside.

      Heat Oil in pan. Add Garlic, Jeera and saute.

      The ingredients that are required to make the palak soup are: ¾ tablespoon of moong dal One diced carrot One chopped red capsicum One potato boiled and diced 0.25 cups of finely chopped spinach ¼ cups chopped onions 2 to 3 garlic cloves that are diced to small sizes 1 tablespoon of besan or gram flour 1 bay leaf 2 cups of water 1 tablespoon of butter Salt to taste The cream is optional for topping the soup Crushed black pepper and grated cheese to garnish

      The stepwise procedure to prepare a cream of spinach soup is stated below. Soak moong dal in water and then boil it for 20 minutes with salt and water. Remove it to a blender and make a fine paste and leave it aside for future use. In a heavy-bottomed vessel, boil the potato with water and salt, peel the soft-boiled potato's skin and keep it in a bowl. Rinse the palak leaves in running water. Finely chop it and leave it aside. In a pan or Kadai, heat butter and add a bay leaf to it. Saute for 2 to 3 seconds. Drop in 2 to 3 chopped garlic and saute it until they turn brown. But take care not to burn the garlic. Make sure to do it on low flame. Add ¼ cup of chopped onions and saute until they turn translucent. Then drop diced carrots, red pepper and the boiled potatoes. Then add approximately 2 cups of chopped spinach. Mix salt and pepper and stir and season it well. Add 1 tablespoon of gram flour or besan to it. Mix them well. Pour 2 cups of water and allow it to simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add ¼ teaspoon of cumin powder. Stir it well together. Let the soup mixture cool and switch it off. Blend it well in a blender and make it smooth. Remove the bay leaf before blending. Add salt and crushed pepper to season the soup. Mix it with the smooth moong dal paste. If the consistency of the soup is thick at this stage, add some water. Place the soup again on the stove and simmer for 3 minutes. Make a base with the veggies and pour the soup on top.
