      Directions

      To a bowl, add Curd and whisk until it’s smooth. Add Honey to the Curd and mix it.

      Keep aside.

      Soak Sago in room temperature water for 90 mins.

      Peel and cut Sweet Potatoes into 1.5 cm squares. Boil it in water with a little bit of Sendha Namak.

      Heat Oil in a pan. Add Hing, Curry Leaves and Cumin. Let it splatter.

      Add the boiled Sweet Potatoes and saute for a while.

      Add the soaked Sago along with chopped Green Chilli and Water dissolved Sendha Namak. The Sendha Namak is dissolved in water to avoid lump formation. Saute for sometime.

      Mix roasted Peanuts without skin in the prepared mixture.

      Sabudana Khichdi Recipe

      First, sabudana is rinsed well in water and then soaked in water. Please leave it to stay for some time, around 4 hours overnight, preferably. This provides a perfect texture to the dish. Drain the water and ensure that it is entirely out of moisture. Soaking doubles the size of the balls of sabudana and form a soft texture that gets mashed very easily. Then the sabudana khichdi ingredients are taken and kept ready. Take peanuts and dry roast them. Crush half of them in a pulsating mode of the blender and then leave both the whole and crushed ones separately aside for future use. Take a pan and add ghee into it. Drop-in cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add curry leaves with finely chopped ginger and green chillies. Sauté for some time. Then add boiled potatoes that are diced into small cubes. Then coriander leaves are topped to it. Lemon juice is added with roasted whole peanuts. Make sure that the lemon juice coats the sabudana khichdi completely by stirring all the contents and tossing.
