How To Store Mango Pickles?
Mango pickles are the best way to enjoy the delicious fruit no matter what season it is. However, this can only be possible if you know how to store the mango achar well. Here are some things you need to keep in mind when it comes to the storage of mango pickles: Pick the right jar for storing mango pickles. We suggest you either go for glass bottles or an earthenware jar for the pickle. Make sure the lid of the bottle is airtight to keep away any moisture. The jars should be properly cleaned and sterilized before putting the pickles. For this, add cold water to the bottle and then heat them along with the water. When the water gets boiled, let the bottles inside for at least 5 minutes. Later, put the bottles upside down to remove all the water. Store the mango achar bottles in a cool and dry place, away from the sunlight. You can also refrigerate them. You can also add preservatives to the mango pickle to increase its shelf life. A thick layer of oil works best as a preservative. It prevents contact with air and lets the pickles stay fresh for a year.
