These are bombs for sure! Bombs of pure deliciousness and health! Spirulina is supposedly one of the most nutritious foods on the planet as it is rich in omega fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and is an excellent source of protein. If you are someone who works out regularly, this recipe is perfect for you. Now, it goes without saying that you can enjoy them even if you don’t workout as they are not ... only absolutely delicious but also loaded with nutrients. If you are ever feeling drained out or low on energy, you can pop one of these in your mouth and well, you might not magically turn into a superhero but the superfoods will provide you with a burst of energy, making you feel re-energized. The Spirulina bombs recipe is itself actually pretty easy and you can make them in just about 20 minutes. Substituting sugar with dates not only makes them healthier but tastier too. You can really feel the smooth texture of the dates and it adds that caramelly flavour to it. The buckwheat grains, sunflower seeds and almonds give this dish an extra bit of crunch which makes it more fun to munch on even when you are bored or for snacking between meals. You can add a touch of Nutmeg and Cinnamon powder to give it a nice spicy aroma and flavour. If you are allergic to Cinnamon, you can avoid it completely. Say no to those plain and boring protein bars and say yes to these protein bombs instead!
